We breed primarily to produce our next show dog and only after
carefully researching pedigrees and only if we believe we will produce
better in each successive generation. We do not breed to produce the most popular color nor the newest made up lets make a buck color nor do we list our pups as Rare or Exotic. We breed to produce a top quality puppy that will win its owners heart as a companion as much as it will win in the show ring.
We have on average only one litter a year, so reservations
are recommended. While we do specialize in black of both coats we
also produce other colors including dilutes in both coats and occasionally blue. We also
occasionally may have a pick puppy or an older puppy/young adult
available.
Our puppies are NEVER priced just because of their color or size, nor do we try to dupe anyone or make a buck by calling the less well known or less popular colors "exotic" or "rare'. Our pups
are evaluated and priced according to how well they fit the breed
standard. We never ever sacrifice soundness for color, first we build the house foundation (Structure) correctly first , then we paint it (color).
The difference between our show prospects and our pet puppies is largely cosmetic. In litters bred for quality the difference in appearance between show prospects and pets is slight. Dog shows are beauty contests, and winning in close competition can depend on such minor details as size of ears, shape of feet, and set of tail. Our pet puppies are those that we feel wouldn't be as competitive in the show ring.
Show prospects are only offered to established show families or people who've demonstrated a sincere desire to show their dogs and understand the commitment of time and money the sport requires.
Our pet puppies are sold with the same health warranties as our show prospects. Our pet puppies are not intended for breeding and pet puppies will either have been spayed or neutered prior to sale, or you will be required to have your puppy altered by a specified date.
